FAQs

Who is Talim for?

Talim is for homeschooling parents and educators who want to find, submit, and share educational resources in one place.

Is Talim free?

No. Talim is not free. New accounts on request.

How do I find resources?

Search by keywords, then narrow results by subject, topic, skill, age range, or user. Switch language to browse English or Arabic content. You can favorite a resource, copy its link, or save a search to return to it later.

How do I submit a resource?

Use Add to create a resource: title, subject, description, and optional topics, skills, age range, file, or link. You must confirm that the material is not copyrighted. A moderator reviews each submission before it appears in search.

Why is my resource not in search yet?

New submissions stay pending until a moderator approves them. You can follow their status from your dashboard. If a submission is declined, the reason is shown there so you can fix it and try again.

Can I publicly share a resource?

Yes, for resources you own. Visitors without a user account can view that resource if they receive a share link. A copied link to someone else’s resource is only available to registered users.

Will my profile information be publicly visible to visitors?

Not by default. Profile information is only visible to logged-in users. You can allow visitors without an account to see it from Preferences in your dashboard.

What is the difference between topics and skills?

Topics describe what a resource is about within a subject. Skills describe what learners practice. Both are tags you can browse and use as filters.

Can I edit or remove a resource I published?

Yes. Open the resource and use Edit if you are the owner. From your dashboard you can also manage favorites, pending submissions, and deletions.
